We are pleased to invite you to the launch of the Eastern & Southern Africa Higher Education Centers of Excellence (ACE II) taking place on Wednesday October 26, 2016 at the InterContinental Hotel, Nairobi from October 26, from 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM.
What: The Eastern and Southern Africa Higher Education Centers of Excellence (ACE II) Project, an initiative of African governments and the World Bank, has established 24 Africa Centers of Excellence (ACEs) in areas of Agriculture, Health, Science and Technology and Applied Statistics and Education. The project aims to strengthen selected Eastern and Southern African higher education institutions to deliver quality post-graduate education and build collaborative research capacity in the regional priority areas. The centers will build and sustain excellence in higher education and bridge skill gaps in the human resources required to address the development needs of the Eastern and Southern Africa region.
