Five countries participating in the ACE II Project have achieved effectiveness conditions. Achieving effectiveness means that the countries have met all the requirements specified by the World Bank. They include (a) a signed Financing Agreement between the Government and the World Bank (b) establishment of the ACE II National Steering Committee (c) a signed Performance and Funding Agreement (PFA) between the Government and the Africa Center of Excellence. The table below shows the current status of achieving effectiveness by the participating countries.
