Three universities share Sh86 billion from World Bank for higher education

The Eastern and Southern Africa Centers of Excellence project is financed with a loan from the World Bank worth $24m (sh86b) with the aim of strengthening the institution’s capacity to teach and foster research in agriculture, health, education and industry.
