National Steering Committee

Each participating government will constitute a National Steering Committee (NSC) through the ministry responsible for higher education to support and supervise the project at the national level.  The NSC is tasked with the semi-annual review of performance, withdrawal applications and implementation planning and support but with no day to day implementation or approvals. The composition of the NSC will be defined by each country, which could include representatives from the ministry responsible for higher education, the Ministry of Finance, relevant line ministries related to the focus area of the ACEs, the Vice Chancellors from the ACE hosting universities and the private sector.
