The Copperbelt University Africa Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Mining (CBU-ACESM) is pleased to announce availability of scholarships for specific Masters (MPhil.) and Doctoral (PhD) programmes by research at the Copperbelt University as follows:

Master of Philosophy (MPhil.) Fifteen (15) scholarships for Southern and Eastern Africans from Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Angola, Botswana, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia and Ethiopia are available for full time learning for a period of 2 years to undertake a Masters by research (Master of Philosophy-MPhil.) under the Energy Use, Process and Mining Design (EUPMD) theme.

Doctor of Philosophy Four (4) scholarships are available for a period of 3-4 years for Southern and Eastern Africans from Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Angola, Botswana, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia and Ethiopia.

Candidates for this scholarship must be 35 years or less for the MPhil programmes and 47 years or less for the PhD programmes. Applicants should submit their documents by 18 February 2022. Read more
